As often as your dog needs. It is soap-free and unfragranced, which is what usually limits how often you can wash. Many people land on weekly, more in high-pollen months.

Will it help my dog stop scratching?

I am not going to promise that. It is a grooming product, not a medicine. What it does is clean gently, without perfume or harsh detergents, so washing often is not itself a problem. If the scratching is persistent, please talk to your vet.
